It works and does the job
It works exactly like the original Targus that I still have. Same look and feel, as well as the functionality at a reasonable distance in a large presenting room.My Win 10 Lenovo immediately recognized the USB portion and installed it without human intervention.Unlike other reviewers, I HAVE NOT had an issue with the battery running down when I forgot to turn it off on two occasions after disconnecting and packing it. And I should note that I put a cheap battery that I had handy when I first received it.Some time ago, I had purchased a different make that "appeared" to look the same but had some deficiencies. This one is much better made and it works all the time (so far).Opening the battery cover the first time took a bit of effort as sliding it off was very tight. After a couple of times, it is now effortless and it closes firmly. Perhaps some plastic burrs that have now worn out.

My Remote PowerPoint Clicker
Great gadget, but the ergonomic design gets me into trouble when wanting to point the red laser light and accidentally hit the button to advance the slide--the button that's right next to the laser pointer!

It does it's job.
It works. Plain and simple. For what you pay, what more can you ask for. The build quality is not exactly robust, so who knows how long this will last, but I only needed it for a few uses.

Endured being manhandled by toddlers
This is our second one. The first one still works (after a year of being manhandled by toddlers) but my kids fight over it so badly that I had to order a second one. The large buttons are easy to press and the red light is sharp and visible. We use it primarily as a toy for our dogs.

Simple and Reliable, Nice Fit in Hand
It works simply and reliably. It fits nicely in my hand, and it has a little bit of weight to it.The USB receiver can be stored inside the unit, and a fabric drawstring bag is included for storage. There's an on/off switch on the side to save the battery when not in use.

Great wireless presentation remote
Great little wireless remote, I was able to present a PowerPoint and go through pages at the click of my finger while talking away from my computer. The range is very decent, the remote looks professional and it doesn’t distract.

Just plug it in and the computer will automarically search and install compatible driver.
Hubs is a Music teacher and uses this with a PC desktop to teach. He likes how easy it is to use, move forward and back, and that it comes with a laser pointer. The range is good within the classroom. It might be a bit small for big hands hence only 4 stars for the ergonomic and remote. Good value for the price!

Not easy to use
I’ve tried to use the device on two different computers and the drivers will not install, so I am unable to use the device. The instructions are very minimal, they didn’t even specify what size of battery is needed.
