I purchased 2 of these for the hallway/staircase 1 upper landing 1 lower landing , they are similar to the ones we have in the lounge purchased from Next but these were a lot cheaper and knowing they would not be on much i thought i,d save some money. They look great, they are very,very bright ,if these were in the lounge i would have to fit a dimmer (if they are dimmable ), their very light in weight so i though these will be easy to hold when installing, here lies the problem.The terminal block is fixed to the base, you cannot lift it up ,install the cables and fix back down, so unless you have octopus fingers and you can pull at least 12 inches of cable down through the ceiling, you,ll have to make your own 6 inch 3 core cable lead , fit one end in the fitting and the other to your existing cables then offer the fitting up to the ceiling ,plus the fixing bar that holds the fitting up is quite wide so i had to make the hole larger so i could find enough room for the cables.Having said all the grief about installation now their up they look brill.

Sadly the unit arrived and did not work. Looked good though which is a shame.Having started the ball rolling with Amazon on the refund, I was then contacted by the manufacturer and offered a new unit free of charge.Sadly as I needed the light, I had already been out to a local shop and settled from something a little less elegant that I have already installed.But the fact that they were wiling to do this at all speaks volumes to their customer service and commitment to quality.

Small enough landing area. A few of these gives the best look. The base is a bit small so need some creativity to screw onto the ceiling. I bought one and then another one. Lets see how long the LED driver last. But overall is really nice design and modern

I bought one for the kitchen and loved it so much I bought another one for the dining area! They look really good, bright and modern. I love the fact they don't have bulbs to keep needing replacing. I hope they last as long as they state! I love them and would definitely recommend them.

Love the look, and it’s bright, negative is there’s not much room for the connections inside

This was fairly easy to install and is nice and ‘light’.....no more balancing on the ladder with a heavy ceiling light in one hand whilst trying to connect the wires at the same time.

Very nice but a bit small, it’s bright enough very light weight, I brought an engineer to fix it. He finished the job in less than 5 minutes

I have this in the entrance hall and it looks fantastic. Very bright and worth the money. I had an electrician fit it.
